We create value for our people and value for our clients.
We always take the high road, even if it costs us in the short term, because we believe the things that make you richest are the things you do for others.
Weaved into our nation's fabric and steeped in American values, there are many stories of American dreams that, through our efforts as financial professionals, have come true and more that have yet to be fulfilled. That is our Just Cause.

Each and every day we will cultivate a thriving workplace, investing in our team(s) so they may realize their personal and professional dreams, all while instilling in them the desire and an ability to help others reach theirs.
We will set our sights high above the fray, questioning “why” and answering “how” at every turn for the benefit of our financial advisors and their clients, to deliver a spectacular customer service experience.
As corporate citizens, we will make it our purpose—both narrowly and broadly—to constantly improve the lives of others and ourselves because, in a world of infinite problems and possibilities, dreams realized beget new ones.
With an eye toward a sustainable future, we will recognize the capital interests of every AP stakeholder—employee, advisor, client, community and shareholder—creating long-term well-being and value for all.
I thank you for the opportunity to introduce our company to you.
American Portfolios was conceived by a group of like minded, independent financial service professionals, committed to serving their clients by offering sound financial guidance or planning along with solid investment advice. The firm is owned and operated by individuals who have all worked with clients of their own. I started in the financial services field in 1978 when I was brought into the business by my father Hy Dolber.
As professionals, we will not tolerate or recognize any obligation to market the services or investment products produced by any single company. We understand what it means to seek out and to offer only the best products or services available, without conflict or compromise and this is the same commitment we make to our representatives.
The financial services industry is dynamic and evolving. Barriers have fallen and investors face an almost unlimited and often confusing variety of financial products and investment choices. We believe that financial professionals must have access to a diverse selection of unbiased and high quality investment products and services in order to best meet their client’s objectives.
I thank you for the opportunity to introduce our company to you. We are proud of what has been accomplished thus far and hope that our vision someday may be of benefit to you.
-Lon T. Dolber
We believe that the success of a company is made possible through the hard earned efforts of its people. By Bringing together the most expert and imaginative people in a culture that embraces technology and the courage to think independently, we create true value in our services, our recommended portfolios and our company.
